Croydon Area Gay Society Monthly Meeting - Peter Burman talks about John Ruskin to mark his bicentenary

In 2019 major exhibitions and other events the world over will be celebrating the 200th birthday of the writer and artist John Ruskin. Peter Burman has been exploring Ruskin's thought and writings for most of his adult life, and is a Director of the Guild of St George, founded by Ruskin in 1871. If you care about the environment and about the beauty in landscape, traditional buildings, hand-made crafts and paintings you will enjoy this talk and the discussion it aims to spark.

Croydon Area Gay Society

CAGS (Croydon Area Gay Society) is a society for lesbians and gay men in and around Croydon. We have about 100 members.

Our social diary normally contains at least two social events a month, for instance coffee evenings, wine and cheese parties, music evenings, and restaurant visits, and once a year our summer garden party.
